I come from a broken home where I never felt I belonged. From being bullied in a country I didn’t call my own to plunging into drugs and abusive relationships as an escape, my life was a whirlwind of pain and rejection. I eventually found myself trapped in the lure of addiction until my momβ€”having found Jesus herselfβ€”kept taking me to church. In my desperate search for love and acceptance, I cried out to Jesus. That was the turning point: I came to Patel, where I finally experienced genuine care and the life-changing love of God. Today, I am more secure in who I am in Christ. I’m married, have a son, and now work for Betel, helping those whose lives mirror mine. My journey is proof that even the deepest brokenness can be healed by His love. πŸ™πŸŒ·
