SummaryIโ€™m Michelle, and for five generations, my family was deeply rooted in Mormonism. I followed all the covenants and ordinances, held a temple recommendation, and found my identity in that faith. But as I grew older, especially after enduring two assaults by age 21, I found no comfort or answers in Mormonism.

In November 2021, broken and desperate, I cried out to God in my bathroom. He answered โ€” not with religion, but with His love and presence. He showed me He was not in that faith, and He led me to renounce it in April 2022. By May, I read the Bible for the first time and encountered grace like never before ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ“–

At The Way World Outreach, God began a deep inner healing process. He uncovered unforgiveness I had toward my mother and my abusers. Through His mercy, I forgave them all ๐Ÿ’”โžก๏ธ๐Ÿ’–. He washed away shame, anger, and depression, and filled me with peace and joy. I now walk in forgiveness and even pray for my abusers to find Him.

God has restored my identity and set me free. All glory to Him! ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธโœจ
