I spiraled into crime and drug dealing, narrowly escaped prison, and still felt powerless to change ⛓️. A girlfriend invited me to church, where the pastor laid hands on me and spoke God’s calling over my life 🎀. I began reading my Bible and joined a men’s Bible study, and slowly I felt hope and purpose return 🌱. On March 9, 2009 I was baptized, and today I run a prison ministry, helping inmates find the same freedom I found in Christ πŸ™βœ¨.

I hated my family dynamics.

I did whatever I could to find the love and acceptance that I’d been looking for.

I got involved in many criminal activities, getting myself jail time and being set free.

This second chance was a gift. I couldn’t afford to be the same person that I was…

Although I wanted to change, I was powerless.

That was only until I discovered the mighty power and love of God.
