Summary

In November 2011, our eldest son Mark disappeared, leaving only his backpack on the front steps of our church. After years of battling drug abuse and the torment of schizophrenia, his lifeless body was discovered, plunging our family into unrelenting grief. We were devastated and overwhelmed by the loss, questioning why this tragedy had befallen us. In our darkest moments, we clung to God’s promises, praying fervently for His comfort and guidance. Though the pain of losing Mark still haunts us, we find hope in the knowledge that God’s grace is sufficient to carry us through.
