Jada Peebles is a senior at the University of Illinois and a member of the women’s basketball team who recently went public with her decision to follow Christ. In a social media post, she also gave a glimpse into some of the hardship that ultimately led to her surrender. Jada had quietly endured physical injuries, mental health concerns, and had survived a suicide attempt, but wasn’t quite sure how to talk about any of it. Now, she’s sharing her story to point people to Jesus, and give hope to those who feel alone in their struggles.
