Summary
SummaryI grew up in a violent homeβmy dad was an alcoholic and he beat my mom, me, and my aunts. By my late teens I was on the streets, using drugs and running with gangs. The courts called me a lost cause, and I spent most of my twenties in California prisons. When I got out at 30, I moved to Idaho to start fresh, but alcohol almost trapped me again. After I assaulted a rival gang member, I turned myself in, and during three years in solitary confinement I cried out for change. Ten days after rejoining the general population, a fellow inmate handed me a Bible and I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Since then Iβve been filled with peace, love, and joyβIβve earned my plumbing license, bought my first house, married a wonderful wife, and now oversee ministries. If Jesus could set a violent gang member like me free, He can set anyone free! πποΈβ¨
