I’m Mike Shreve. I had a near-death experience at 19 that set me on a quest for the ultimate truth. Raised in a nominal church, I immersed myself in Eastern religions and devoted countless hours to meditation and yoga. I even became a teacher at multiple universities and ran my own yoga ashram. However, when a local prayer group began interceding for me, I experienced a profound turning pointβ€”God revealed His truth through prayer. I realized that yoga, with its promises of union with the divine, couldn’t compare to the unique and personal salvation found in Jesus Christ. I cancelled all my yoga teaching because I discovered that only by accepting Jesus as Lord could I truly experience God’s presence and eternal life.
