I’ve learned that true discipleship—walking alongside new believers—is more powerful than one-off altar calls. My wife’s decision to follow Christ at a Franklin Graham crusade showed me what real faith looks like in this culture. Every day I see God’s hand in our martial-arts ministry and church. Teaching Bible stories to people unfamiliar with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, I tailor my sermons for a new generation. Evangelism here takes patience, deep listening to the Holy Spirit, and respecting Japanese nonconfrontational norms. Above all, Jesus reigns supreme over every culture.
