In that darkness I felt like I was in hell, overwhelmed by guilt over my life of addictionβ€”especially to pornographyβ€”and heard scriptures piercing my soul. Desperate, I cried out Romans 10:9, β€œJesus, I believe!” I woke trembling, terrified, but alive. That Sunday I went to service, received an intense prayer of deliverance, and felt something leave me. Though I still battled shame, I spent the summer hiding in Scripture and armor of faith (Eph 6). Returning to campus, I got baptizedβ€”feeling cleansed and pureβ€”and committed to walk free in Christ, trusting Matthew 6:33 and Proverbs 3:5-6. πŸ™ŒπŸ”₯
