At eleven I demanded to live with my dad in Atlanta, Georgia, craving stability. There, I found baseball, discipline, and, at thirteen, Jesus Christ 🙏. Yet life’s “sucker punches” kept coming: my mom’s tragic overdose, a miscarriage that broke our hearts, and—ultimately—my dad’s sudden passing from cancer 🎗️. Through every valley and mountaintop, I clung to faith, was blessed with three children, and learned that even when everyone else is gone, Jesus remains my rock and hope 🌈.

This week we have the chance to hear from a close friend of the Hear My Story family, Ryan Rohan. His story is one with loss and heartbreak intertwined in a beautiful story of great faith and resilience.
