Summary
SummaryIβm Shawna Arnold from Saskatchewan, Canada, and I grew up in a home marked by neglect and instability π. By my early teens, I was drowning in alcohol and drugs, ending up in juvenile jail three times. At 19, I faced the heartbreak of an abortion, thinking it was the right choiceβonly to be shattered when I later learned my mother died of an overdose while I was pregnant again. That loss was a wake-up call that shook me to my core. At a youth retreat, I encountered Jesus in adorationβHe spoke βI am your Father, and I love you,β and I felt my wounds pouring out in tears and healing in my heart π. From that moment, I returned to confession, found community in the Church, and slowly rebuilt my life. God gave me a loving husband and a purpose beyond my past, and now I stand here to tell you: no matter how broken you feel, He loves you and can bring beauty from ashes β€οΈ.
Shawna Arnold was born into a very unstable and dysfunctional home which left her feeling neglected and unloved. She sought stability in alcohol and drugs. Here is how she discovered the incredible love of Jesus that changed her life forever.
