In 2020, my doctors told me I had little time left as I battled stage 4 esophageal cancer. At an Encounter Conference, I waited in line for Father Mathias until he instructed me to have the children pray with me. Though initially resistant, I agreed when a little nine-year-old child boldly declared, ‘Well, they just don’t know who Jesus is.’ As the children prayed with heartfelt declarationsβ€”calling on the Holy Spirit and asking for healingβ€”a warmth filled my lung, and in a miraculous turnaround, my subsequent CT scan came back completely clear. Now, after having been taken off chemotherapy and with my scans remaining clear for years, I give all glory to Jesus, testifying that only the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer can bring about such a healing miracle.
