Summary
SummaryThat night, I was sitting in a movie theater in Aurora when I heard a sudden bang. In a split second, I realized it wasn’t part of the film but real gunfire. I felt debris hit my leg and saw people screaming and bleeding. Shock gripped us all, but we immediately turned to prayer ☁️🙏. News came that some of our loved ones were safe, but sorrow weighed on our hearts for the precious lives lost. Through those chaotic moments, God’s comfort arrived—first through the Rapid Response chaplains who prayed with us, then through our church family at Calvary Chapel Aurora. As I poured out my fear, I felt His presence carrying me. Though the trial was fierce, the Lord’s peace sustained me, and I left knowing He would keep interceding for me ❤️.
Bryan “Bo” Boeckner shares his story of what went on inside the theater that night and how Jesus comforted him though the RRT Chaplains on site. Pastor Ed Taylor, of Calvary Chapel Aurora, also shares how his church ministered to the thirty three people from his congregation who were in the theater that night.
