Summary

I grew up in Saginaw, Michigan, surrounded by violence and fear in a gang-ridden family. By 18, I was fully immersed in drug dealing, fathering three kids, and constantly fearing for our lives. Addiction took over, especially to cocaine, and even moving to Grand Rapids didn’t stop the spiral. My wife Sherry tried to speak God’s truth to me, but I resisted for yearsβ€”until her kidney failure in 2017 broke me. Feeling responsible, I cried out to Jesus and surrendered everything. Instantly, He delivered me from addiction. I got sober, started working honestly, and married Sherry in 2018. Now, our whole family is transformed and held together by God’s love. What drugs and violence never gave meβ€”peace, purpose, and real loveβ€”I found in Jesus.
